Welcome to Tioga Wilds. These Terms of Service govern the use of our website, services, reservations, and purchases.
By using this website, booking a reservation, or purchasing services from Tioga Wilds, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Reservations and Services
Tioga Wilds provides electric bike rentals, outdoor recreation services, and related experiences along the Pine Creek Rail Trail.
Reservations may be made online or in person and are subject to availability. Customers are responsible for arriving at the scheduled check-in time for their reservation.
Payments
Accepted payment methods and any applicable restrictions (including debit and credit card requirements) are outlined in our rental policies.
Payments may be processed through secure third-party providers including Stripe and Bike Rent Manager.
By submitting payment information, customers authorize Tioga Wilds to charge the provided payment method for the agreed services, applicable taxes, and any authorized fees.
A temporary authorization hold is placed on the card on file at check-in. Authorization holds are not charges and may be used to cover additional time, damage, loss, or other applicable fees as outlined in our rental policies.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations (24 Hours or More)
Reservations canceled 24 hours or more before the scheduled start time are eligible for a refund of rental charges and taxes, minus a 10% cancellation fee calculated from the rental subtotal (before taxes).
The cancellation fee helps cover credit card processing costs and administrative expenses associated with processing reservations and refunds.
If a reservation is rescheduled within the same operating season, Tioga Wilds may waive the 10% cancellation fee at its discretion.
Late Cancellations (Less Than 24 Hours)
Reservations canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time may be charged the full reservation amount, including rental charges, taxes, and applicable fees.
No-Shows
Customers who fail to arrive for their scheduled reservation without notice will be charged the full reservation amount, including rental charges, taxes, and applicable fees.
Example
For example, if a rental subtotal is $50 and sales tax is $3, the 10% cancellation fee is calculated on the $50 subtotal only.
In this case, the cancellation fee would be $5, and the refund would be $48.
Special Packages and Add-Ons
Special packages and add-ons (including but not limited to charcuterie boards, flowers, celebration packages, or similar items) are non-refundable once reserved.
If a reservation is canceled for any reason, charges for special packages and add-ons will not be refunded, as these items are prepared or purchased in advance.
Customers who cancel their reservation will still be responsible for the full cost of any special packages or add-ons included in the reservation, even if the bike rental portion of the reservation qualifies for a refund under the standard cancellation policy.
Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver
All riders participating in e-bike rentals or tours are required to review and sign a separate rental agreement and liability waiver prior to riding.
This waiver outlines important safety requirements, rider eligibility, equipment responsibilities, and liability acknowledgments related to operating bicycles and electric bicycles.
Failure to sign the required waiver will prevent participation in rentals or services.
Equipment Responsibility
Customers are responsible for the care and return of all rented equipment. Additional charges may apply for late returns, including time beyond the reserved rental period. These charges may be calculated based on rental tier differences or applicable hourly rates, as outlined in our rental policies.
If equipment is left on the trail or requires retrieval for reasons unrelated to mechanical issues, a retrieval fee may be charged as outlined in our rental policies.
When applicable, damage assessments are completed within 3 business days of the rental period. Itemized invoices will be provided for any confirmed charges.
Website Use
The content on this website is provided for informational purposes only. Tioga Wilds reserves the right to update services, pricing, policies, and availability at any time without prior notice.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tioga Wilds and Pine Creek Wilds Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, services, or rental equipment.
All riders must sign a liability waiver prior to participating in any rental activity.
Changes to These Terms
Tioga Wilds reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the effective date.
