- E-bike operators must be 16 years of age or older.
- Pedal-assist riding is permitted on the Pine Creek Rail Trail.
- Throttle-only operation is not permitted on DCNR-managed trails.

For most shorter rides, a single battery is more than enough.
If you’re planning a longer destination — such as Blackwell or beyond — a full-day rental is recommended.
An extended range battery is available for $49 per rider for added distance and peace of mind.

Enhance your Pine Creek Rail Trail adventure with a portable charcuterie-style picnic featuring artisan cheeses, cured meats, fresh fruit, crackers, nuts, and sweet treats.
Perfect for couples, friends, or family members looking to enjoy a relaxing trailside break while exploring the Pine Creek Valley.
- Available for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday rentals only.
- To allow time for preparation, all picnic orders must be placed by Tuesday at 5:00 PM prior to your rental weekend.
Picnics are prepared weekly for weekend rentals and may contain seasonal variations based on ingredient availability.
