Rental Agreement & Liability Waiver
All operators participating in e-bike rentals at Tioga Wilds are required to review and sign a Rental Agreement & Liability Waiver prior to riding.
The waiver may be completed online before arrival or electronically during check-in.
The signed waiver governs the rental and use of all equipment provided by Tioga Wilds.
Adult Riders (18+)
Each adult rider must review and sign their own waiver individually.
For safety and liability reasons, one participant may not complete or sign a waiver on behalf of another adult rider.
Rider Eligibility
E-bike rentals are available for operators 16 years of age and older.
Operators Under 18
Operators under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to review and sign the Rental Agreement & Liability Waiver on their behalf prior to riding.
For liability reasons, a waiver for a minor may only be signed by that minor’s parent or legal guardian. Other family members, friends, or group leaders may not sign on behalf of a minor.
Parents or guardians are required to sign a paper waiver listing all minor participants.
If a parent or legal guardian is not present, the minor will not be permitted to participate in the rental.
Safety Requirements
Helmets are required for all operators and riders under 18 and must be worn at all times while riding.
Helmets are provided with every rental and strongly recommended for all riders.
Equipment Responsibility
Riders are responsible for the safe operation and care of all rented equipment.
Customers may be charged for damage, theft, late return, or excessive cleaning of equipment during the rental period.
Assumption of Risk
Cycling and e-bike riding involve inherent risks including falls, collisions, road or trail hazards, and other unforeseen conditions.
By signing the rental waiver, riders acknowledge these risks and agree to assume responsibility for their participation.
Reservation Holder Verification
Valid ID Requirement:
At least one valid state or government-issued photo ID is required for every reservation at check-in. For groups with multiple reservations, each reservation must provide its own ID. The name on the ID must match the responsible party listed on the reservation and payment method. Failure to provide valid identification may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund.
If a participant does not possess a driver’s license, identity may be verified using reservation information and the signed waiver.
Official Waiver
The Rental Agreement & Liability Waiver completed and signed by each participant—either online prior to arrival or during check-in—is the official and binding agreement governing participation in Tioga Wilds rentals.
