It’s a flat, easy ride that combines natural views with the convenience of reaching town, where bike racks are available so riders can lock up and explore shops, dining, and local attractions.

Our recommendation:

✓ Half day for riding only

✓ Full day if you plan to shop or spend time in town

Best for:

✓ Scenic views

✓ Nature lovers

✓ Hiking and fishing access

✓ Expect long, steady riding

This is our most popular route, with the majority of riders heading south. The trail carries you into the heart of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, where canyon walls, forested slopes, and sweeping creek views create a truly immersive ride.

Along the way, riders can access the Turkey Path, a well-known waterfall hike that connects directly from the bottom of the rail trail. Bike racks are available, making it easy to lock up and explore on foot, with nearby spots for fishing and picnicking in the Tiadaghton area.

Our recommendation:

✓ Half day for Turkey Path & Tiadaghton

✓ Planning to ride to Blackwell? We recommend our Extended Range Battery for added distance and flexibility

This is one of the longest and most demanding rides we offer on the Pine Creek Rail Trail, and planning ahead is strongly recommended.

✓ Most riders will use a significant portion of their battery

✓ Expect long, steady riding

✓ Riders who pedal efficiently and use lower assist levels have the best success

✓ The Pine Creek Rail Trail is a flat, easy ride, but distances can add up quickly—especially heading south—so planning ahead is strongly recommended. For longer rides, extended range batteries are available.

Only a few experienced riders complete this ride on a single battery. Range will vary based on riding style, terrain, and assist level.

If you’re unsure, we’ll help you choose the safest and most enjoyable option.
